Lycée International de Calgary Art Room
A Community Outreach Project

The Lycée International de Calgary decided to revamp its art room during the COVID shutdown in early 2020. In dire need of more storage and functionality, this art room received a complete overhaul. In addition to creating ample storage for supplies and student projects, work counters and movable islands provide versatility for lessons as well as a unique area to host events. A mural project invited students, staff, and parents to paint their own unique tiles for the sink backsplash as a way to reconnect the school community in this time of isolation. The participation was overwhelming, and the end result is a beautiful art piece that continues to bring the school together.
